Bio:

Quick description: In a word, “indifferent”. A student of magics. A seeker to the hidden dark veil of life. One who’s reason to be is it to unlock the mysteries of life and death itself (and willing to wrestle those secretes from the dead themselves if necessary). Indifferent to those who walk with or beside him, but one who will kill you with a word if you get in his way or block his studies.

Greatest strength: ”My mind, and the knowledge that I possess, and that which I will possess.”

Biggest weakness: ”If I cared for the company of others, it would be my lack of social skills with people.” (Or more accurately the living)

Distinguishing feature: Palor skin tone and a continuous expression of one who looks like he would rather be doing something else. He smells of musty libraries and candle wax.

Why an adventurer?: Knowledge is out there, and I will find it, in any and all of its forms.”

Closest family/friends: ”Those of my order assist me when I ask of it, as I do the same for them. But they are more of colleagues then “friends”. I have no family that I know (or care) of.”

Greatest loyalty: ”To unlocking the mysteries of the dark veil.” (The dark veil is his way of saying the mysteries of life and death. More specifically the mysteries of death magic and negative plane energies.)

The future: ”To walk within the shadow of the dark veil, and make its will my own.” To find a way to escape death itself as to be able to study for all time. (Without going to undeath or lichdom.)

Travel: ”I go where my path takes me. I know not my destination, save that it will lead to greater things and wisdom.”

Skills: ”To walk the line between life and death, and cross it back and forth as needed.”

Free time: ”There is not time enough in this life for “free time”.”

Magical desires: ”Magic is my heart, my life, my soul. I am magic, and magic is me. I will master magic as it has mastered me.”

Hanging out: ”On the instances when I need leave of my research for mental relief, I find the company of silent places or the warmth of a good courtesan.”

Legacy: ”If my path leads to death and I am left only with a legacy, it will be a guide to knowledge and power that will be sought after by greatest of minds for all time. My spellbooks and research discoveries will be sought by wizard masters for the rest of time. (Assuming I am not there to hand down this knowledge in person.)”
